Lauren Boyd started at CHWS as a graduate research assistant in 2015, and accepted a new position as a research associate in 2017. She assists with program research activities such as planning, conducting, evaluating, interpreting, and reporting study findings for projects pertaining to New York State’s heath workforce.
Ms. Boyd has experience in community outreach, exercise science, program planning and implementation, and conducting evidence-based research to identify trends and strategies to address the changing health care environment. Before joining CHWS, she completed an internship at Schenectady County Public Health Services working on a grant awarded by the CDC to address food insecurity in Schenectady County. She holds a B.S in Wellness Management with a minor in Business Administration from SUNY Oswego, and a Master’s of Public Health with a concentration in Health Policy and Management from the University at Albany, SUNY.
