Byunggu Kang works primarily on Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and community needs assessments for New York State. Mr. Kang specializes in statistical modeling and analysis, as well as the use of STATA, SPSS, and ArcGIS.
Prior to his time at CHWS, Mr. Kang was a research assistant at the School of Criminal Justice at the University at Albany, and also taught undergraduate courses at the School of Criminal Justice. Mr. Kang received a MA in criminology at Dongguk University in the Republic of Korea. He currently is a PhD candidate at the School of Criminal Justice at the University at Albany, SUNY.
