Byunggu Kang works primarily on Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and community needs assessments for New York State. Mr. Kang specializes in statistical modeling and analysis, as well as data visualization, utilizing demographic techniques and quantitative methods.
Mr. Kang has a PhD in criminal justice from the University at Albany, SUNY. Prior to his time at CHWS, Mr. Kang was a research assistant at the School of Criminal Justice at the University at Albany, and also taught undergraduate courses at the School of Criminal Justice.
