New Ilion Health Center Provides Better Access for County Residents

A new community health center is offering Herkimer County residents another place to turn for medical care. Valley Family Health Center, at 55 Central Plaza, Suite B in Ilion, started seeing patients part time in May and is hosting a formal ribbon cutting at noon Tuesday. The federally qualified community health center offers primary care and women’s health services.

Oral Health Workforce Research Center Study Recognizes New Hampshire Oral Health Innovation In New Report

Concord and Littleton, NH – Ammonoosuc Community Health Services (ACHS) has been recognized for achievement in a recent report from the Oral Health Workforce Research Center at the School of Public Health, University of Albany, State University of New York. ACHS was recognized for meeting a need in the community for more dental care through its new clinic and a partnership with the University of New England in Portland, Maine in the opening of a new dental school.
