Sandra George accepted her position as a Health Program Administrator in early 2022. As the main administrative support, Sandra’s role is essential to the smooth operations of CHWS. Ms. George helps coordinate the fiscal activities of the Center and assists with grant management. She also provides support for CHWS staff by handling meeting scheduling, facilitating travel planning, helping to maintain the websites, providing logistical support, and other day-to-day administrative needs.

Ms. George’s experience includes over a decade of service in university administration. Prior to CHWS, Sandra worked for 9 years as grants and contracts support at the University at Albany. She also worked in contract management at Sematech and was a clerical specialist at the Research Foundation at the University of Albany, assisting over 30 SUNY campuses with technical expertise in purchasing, travel, and accounts payable processes.
